Selene Parts have arrived from JTM

Selene Yacht Service has received a portion of our order for OEM parts from Jet-Tern Marine. Included in these parts are Fender Cleats, AC Volt Meters, Backlighting, Gas Struts and more. Check our Selene Parts section on our website to see what we have. We are still in the process of updating the list. We are expecting a second shipment sometime this fall. Selene 4547 has arrived!

The latest boat to arrive from the Jet-Tern Factory, 4547, is now at our dock at Selene Yacht Service. We are currently going through checkout list for the boat. After the delivery is finalized, we will begin the commissioning work. We will be installing a Raymarine package for the electronics to go along with the complete commissioning package our customer has elected to go with.

We are now a dealer for Dr. LED!

We are excited to announce we have become dealers for Dr. LED. Dr. LED makes a series of bulbs specifically for marine use. The item we get the most inquiries about from customers is the navigation bulbs which are designed to be replacements for the Perko Series 40 lights. Now selling Defibtech AED’s

We’re excited to announce that we will now be selling Defibtech AED’s (automatic external deliberators) for our customers. We want our customers to feel ready for any sort of emergency when using their vessel and having a deliberator onboard can save a life. We are offering two versions of the Defibtech AED’s; the Reviver and the Reviver View. Please click on the links for more information on each AED and watch the video demo for the Reviver View. THE WINTER IS APPROACHING!

For us at Selene Yacht Service, that means too much down-time for the next three months, and then boats stacked up all Spring, so we wanted to offer you an opportunity to get your projects completed early, and save some money in the process.

We can take your boat in our yard if convenient, or we can come to you. Naturally, we can offer a better deal if the boat comes here to Lake Union (easier to schedule, and no travel time), but we are willing to travel anywhere in the Puget Sound area.

We are happy to announce that Selene Yacht Service is now a parts and service dealer for FIscher-Panda generators. We have multiple members of our staff that have received the Level 3 certification during a recent trip to Miami, which is the highest certification they offer. Please contact us for any inquiries about your Fischer Panda generator.

December 2007

It was a busy year. Selene Yacht Service was launched in July 2007. Robert Dunlop, a Selene 62 owner, and Howard Chen, of Jet Tern are the owners of the yard. These past 6 months have been focused on cleaning up issues left by the former boat yard and setting up better systems both financial and operational, improving personnel and efficiency. We are going into 2008 a financially strong and much more focused company.

Brian Taylor, our General Manager, made his first trip to China this month. He had the chance to visit the Jet Tern factory, meet the staff and have several meetings with Howard Chen. We feel the connections he has made on this trip will be invaluable to our customers in the next year. Here are some pictures of his trip.
